Mackey Mitchell Architects started small almost a half a century ago in downtown St. Louis, but with time, passion and hard work they have become a nationally recognized architecture firm that is just as passionate about people and relationships as they are about buildings.
Objective
With an established specialization in higher education, they saw their growth and recent transition in leadership as an opportunity to refocus their brand. Staying true to their key philosophy, we collaborated with the architects to create a warm, accessible and authentic brand that is expressed through digital, print, social media and public relations efforts.
Strategy
The Almanac brand immersion process consisted of both internal and external interviews and audits of more than twenty of the firm’s competitors. Each finding reemphasized the passion and perspective of Mackey Mitchell’s employees. They are the ones who shape the environments to inspire the dancers, students, artists, and professors who inhabit their creations.
