The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital raises funds to support some of the highest rated health organizations in the Midwest, including Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Siteman Cancer Center and Goldfarb School of Nursing.
Donations help provide compassionate patient care, innovative medical research and education for medical professionals in the St. Louis area and beyond, so Barnes decided that the time was right to be more intentional about the content and strategy of their direct mail campaign. Their goal was to create a focused, well-designed campaign with a strong acquisition component and a consistent, measured approach to donor renewals.
We worked with the Barnes team to define their target audiences, create memorable messaging, develop a system of mailings and design pieces that connect with their audiences in new ways. We used authentic stories–told in the patient's’ own voices– to help give the mailer a memorable impact while reminding recipients that all of the technology and cutting-edge research enables Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Siteman Cancer Center to take care of more people.
