We’re excited to welcome two new Almanacers to the team! Please say hello to Tyler Doyle, who joins us as Sr. Copywriter and Lauren Breig as Designer.
Tyler comes to us by way of the global brand agency Lippincott where he worked as a Senior Consultant, tackling naming, brand strategy and brand voice across the agency’s portfolio. He was also a creative lead at one of my favorite naming companies, the bay area firm A Hundred Monkeys. (Side note: buy their naming book “Don’t Call It That!” and thank me later.) Tyler’s already made himself at home nerding out with our Technical Director Ben on their shared love of
frolf disc golf (“frolf” is considered offensive by those who take the game sport seriously, or so I’m told.)
Lauren brings years of experience designing across print and digital, most recently, at the award-winning design firm Cheree Berry Paper. She brings a bright and positive attitude, is keenly tuned into every design detail (large or small!), and is dogged about pulling together the right ideas, materials and partners to make sure each project reaches its full potential. Plus, we hear she makes great pies! Time will tell.
We know that Tyler and Lauren will each bring their unique perspectives to our team as we make sure our “big ideas” solve each client’s big problem from strategy to execution. You can learn a bit about them (and meet the rest of our crew) by visiting our team page, Heart.
As the Almanac team continues to grow, we’re always looking for smart and creative people to join us on our quest to create more connection and understanding in the world. We have an immediate opening for a mid-level designer (job posting coming soon). If you or someone you know wants to leverage design to create connection and understanding, hit us up: firstname.lastname@example.org.
