UPDATE: Our interns wrote posts introducing each other. Read them below:

Getting to know Sarah
Getting to know Lauren

We are excited to welcome Lauren Blankenship and Sarah Mitrano to the team at Almanac! We spent tons of time reviewing prospective applicants’ resumes and qualifications, but these two rose to the top.

lauren_blankenship_bio_photo_smallLauren, a recent graduate of Webster University with a B.A. in Marketing & Advertising Communications and concentration in Public Relations, joins us in the role of copywriter / content developer. She’ll work with our team to develop brand concepts, write copy for print and digital projects and develop all that pesky website metadata we love to discuss to death. Read more about Lauren in her bio.

sarah_mitrano_bio_photo_smallSarah is heading into her senior year at Washington University in St. Louis where she studies Communication Design. She joins us as a designer. Sarah’s already proving to be a welcome addition to the design team, as evidenced from an “I love it!” we immediately received from a client. She hails from the great state of New Jersey but has yet to discuss her home town’s famous snack: the infamous pork roll (or Taylor Ham, depending on who you ask). More about Sarah in her bio.

You’ll be hearing from both Lauren and Sarah next week on the blog and throughout the summer, so stay tuned.
